Hi all,
Agreed gentlemen with a lot of your comments.

This person may have good intentions but its comes across as hostility to me. I'd prefer a more open collaborative forum that encourages newcommers to participate rather than be exposed to embarrassment by senior members.
Im hoping this site comes up with a really good spirit that fosters new people that wish to learn and contribute.

Agree 1000%
I have not pointed out to Galleon his qb64 is being destroyed. This is because I am not here to destroy others (even those who deserve it). I am myself too lazy to rewrite the whole Wiki - I dislike mere code: IDEAS are what interest me!

Such as how to invent and discover things by using what we know in OTHER areas of specialisation. People are so blind. The shepherd boy on his flute discovered the sonic laser THOUSANDS of years ago - but never realised it.
But all resonant devices operate exactly like lasers do: a source of energy coupled with positive fedback via a resonant structure!

How about the free beta site "Catch" - it badly needs a review

It pretends to give the 3-D coordinate x,y,z list ("the cloud") that fully describes a solid object.
It pretends to determine that list from  many dozen photos of the same object from many different camera positions.
It has many severe flaws - yet the calculation they do for you is amazingly fast!
Will be most impressive if they ever get it working!

The snag (and need to pay them) comes when you try to present "the cloud" to your 3-d primter in a manner it can act upon!

Good idea!
Welcome to put ALL my "Knots and Tangles" under a single topic - any you like.
How about "When is a knot not a knot" ::)

Clippy is nobody at all, just a busy body: certainly no moderator! He is the Judy and the mod is "Punch" so they can fight endlessly. Both are very ancient.
The examples on QB64 wicki in Firefor via Google get copied but ALL IN ONE LINE, so you have to take ages guessing how to punctuate them so that they run!

My info is a year old, but I doubt Firefox/Google have changed to suit Clippy!
I expect it remains a stalemate.

Would you like me to try to attach a huge "all one line" Example from the Wiki?
Maybe best to forget and concentrate on a better future! ;D
